The Hingham Women’s Club recently took part in a meaningful project by creating Love Letters for Literacy for DOVE (Domestic Violence Ended). Each handmade kit was filled with encouraging notes, alphabet activities, and early literacy tools—bringing joy and support to families impacted by domestic violence. We’re honored to contribute to DOVE’s mission of hope, healing, and empowerment. Thank you to our members for helping plant the seeds of love, learning, and compassion through every thoughtful letter and activity.

Members of the Hingham Women’s Club recently gathered to pack bagged lunches for Father Bill’s & MainSpring , supporting their mission to end homelessness and hunger across the South Shore. With care and compassion, volunteers assembled meals to help provide nourishment and comfort to those in need. Thank you to everyone who participated—your generosity and teamwork made a meaningful impact. Small acts of kindness truly add up, and we’re proud to be part of a community that steps up for others.

The Hingham Women’s Club was proud to support the Friends of the Homeless of the South Shore Holiday Party, bringing warmth, joy, and festive fun to local families this season. Our members helped with party prep, activities, and gift giving—spreading cheer and making the holidays a little brighter for those in need. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated their time, talents, and resources. Moments like these remind us what the season is truly about—community, compassion, and care.

The Hingham Women’s Club’s annual Festival of Trees was a joyful celebration of community, creativity, and holiday spirit! Families and friends came together to stroll through a winter wonderland of beautifully decorated trees, enjoy festive music, and take part in raffles, shopping, and seasonal fun—all while supporting local charities through our United for Good initiative and the HWC College Scholarship program. Thank you to our sponsors, donors, volunteers, and every guest who made this event so special. Your generosity and enthusiasm help us bring light and hope to others during the holiday season. We couldn’t do it without you!

Members of the Hingham Women’s Club brought the magic of the season to life while decorating the holiday room at the Hingham Center for Active Living. With festive trees, twinkling lights, and thoughtful touches throughout the space, the room was transformed into a cozy and cheerful retreat for all to enjoy. We’re so grateful to be part of a community that values connection, joy, and giving back. Thank you to our wonderful volunteers who helped make the Center feel extra special this season!

The Hingham Women’s Club kicked off the holiday season in the most magical way—with our annual Festival of Trees Decorating Night! Members gathered to transform the space into a winter wonderland, carefully trimming trees, stringing lights, and adding all the festive touches that bring joy to our beloved community event. Thank you to all the incredible volunteers who helped make the night so special. Your creativity, teamwork, and holiday spirit are what make the Festival of Trees shine year after year!

The Hingham Women's Club met to pack backpacks with essential school supplies for children in need.

Members of the Hingham Women’s Club recently rolled up their sleeves for a Route 3A trash clean-up, working together to help keep our town beautiful. Armed with gloves, trash bags, and a shared commitment to community service, volunteers collected litter along the busy roadway, making a visible impact. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make a difference. It’s inspiring to see what we can accomplish when we come together for the good of Hingham!

Hingham Women’s Club members gathered for a festive evening of Oktoberfest fun at our bring-your-own-beverage event. Attendees enjoyed a lively night of celebration, all while supporting a great cause. Proceeds from ticket sales benefited the Hingham Food Pantry, and generous food donations were collected during the event to further support the pantry’s mission.

The Hingham Women's Club kicked off the program year with a gathering at Tosca. During their presentation, President Jenee Melgoza and Vice President Chris Campbell introduced the new board, gave an overview of HWC and went over the events for the year.

This month we helped equip families with the tools to teach their children to read by creating literacy kits for preschoolers in need. These handmade packets comprise 26 flashcards (A through Z), a short note from the volunteer, and a list of educational games to play at home written in English & Spanish.
